The Management of Ignatius Ajuri University of Education (IAUE), says its decision to suspend two students of the institution over alleged inciting comments on social media was a step in the right direction.
Public Relations Officer of the institution, Ngozi Okeredu who made this known in a statement yesterday, said the students tried to incite other students to protest against the management of the school.
She said one of the students called for a protest over the lack of many banks in the school while the other student called for the outright cancellation of the ongoing final year exams and the forthcoming matriculation ceremony.
The PRO advised students and members of the public to get their facts right and stop spreading falsehood.
She furthermore said the school will not tolerate any act of indiscipline from any student of the institution.
