The Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council Against Corruption PACAC, Professor Itse Sagay has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to with immediate effect sack the Minister of the Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio.
Sagay, who made the call in a chat with journalists said, fresh people, probably people who have been properly nominated should be brought in and a very strict system of monitoring expenditure be instituted.
He said “if i were the President, if I were in his shoes, and if I was to advice him, I would say dissolve this interim committee, remove the Minister of the Niger Delta because he is neck deep in it.”
Sagay made the call following series of allegations of financial misappropriation claims against Senator Akpabio.
