The Rivers State Police Command says it is investigating the killing of three Police escorts at the Rumuokoro flyover bridge on Thursday.
Gunmen attacked the officers who were escorting the Managing Director of IGPES Oil and Gas Company, Seni Awosike before whisking him away.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Iringi-Koko in a statement said efforts are on to arrest the fleeing gunmen and rescue the victim.
She stated that the command will do everything within its power to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
