The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Rtd), has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decision to declare a state of emergency, describing the move as timely and effective.
Ibas said this on Saturday during the 25th anniversary celebration of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) held in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the emergency declaration has significantly restored peace and stability across Rivers State.
