A final year student of the Ignatius Ajuru University, identified as Onyekachi Miracle has been suspended by Management of the institution, after he was caught in one of the female hostels of the school, dressed as a female.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Ndimele Ozo-Mekuri, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
The student of the Department of English and Communication Studies, according to reports, was caught on Monday night at Salvation Hostel of the school.
The VC, said the student has been handed over to the Police for prosecution, as the matter has been referred to the Students Disciplinary Committee for further investigation.
He debunked claims that the suspect is a level 100 student, not familiar with the rules on campus, adding that he had completed his course and was only making correction in his project.
