The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUE, in Rivers State, has suspended one Miss Ada Ogum of the Music Department, for allegedly hiring a mercenary to write her exam.
Vice Chancellor of the school, Prof. Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page.
The statement reads,
SUSPENSION FROM STUDIES – IAUE
The Management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has suspended the student whose name appears below from studies for hiring a mercenary to write the exam in EDU 223 (Educational Technology) for her:
Miss Ada Favour OGUM – UE/2016/MUS/BA.ED4/0007 – Music Dept.
Her matter has been referred to the Students Disciplinary Committee to determine her fate.
Meanwhile, her name has been sent to DSS for profiling.
