Three students of the Ignatius Ajuru University have been suspended by Management of the school.
Vice Chancellor of the institution,Ozo Mekuri Ndimele in a statement on Thursday, said two of the students, Nwankwo Sunday and Okwe Michael were suspended over alleged possession of a localy made pistol.
He said Nwankwo of the Department of Political Science and Michael of the Department of Counselling who attempted to rob students with the firearm, have been handed over to the Police.
Prof. Mekuri, also said the third student, George ThankGod of the Department of Computer Science attacked and injured fellow students with members of his cult group.
He said the students remain suspended pending the outcome of the investigation by the Student’s Disciplinary Committee of the school.
