Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike says he will remain in the People’s Democratic Party despite crises in the party.
Gov. Wike stated this after a closed-door meeting with the party’s Board of Trustees in Port Harcourt, on Tuesday.
According to him, what is important is that the party is still united despite the crises.
On his part, Acting Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Adolphous Wabara says the crisis rocking the party will be resolved soon.
He said this in a chat with journalists after the meeting Today.
Senator Wagbara said members of the board have been briefed by Governor Wike and they hope to make peace among members of the party.
“Gov Wike has told us his part, he has told us his grievaniaces and demands, it’s good to hear from both sides.. we will tell our candidate by the grace of God will make progress,” he said.
“I do not have the exclusivity to tell you the board of trustees position on removal of Ayu,” he added.
