Newly appointed Caretaker Chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Hon. Ezebunwo Ichemati has called on the people of the area to join him in moving the council forward.
Ichemati in a chat with journalists Today shortly after his inauguration by the state governor, said he is committed to moving the council forward.
According to him, he is open to working with everyone, adding that nobody will be victimized or punished over his political stance.
He stated that everyone will be carried along in the scheme of things and that his administration will not subvert the resources meant for the people.
Ezebunwo also sued for peace in the state noting that the governor stands and will continue to stand for peace.
