Rivers State Governor – Sim Fubara says he would not be the first governor to be impeached if he is finally impeached from office.
The Governor disclosed this while addressing his supporters at Government House this morning amid impeachment moves by the state House of Assembly.
He said any attempt not justified to remove him will be resisted adding that “whatever wants to happen should happen.”
He stated that at the appropriate time he will address a press conference on the ongoing issues.
Fubara assured Rivers people of the dividends of democracy and commended them for their support.
