Popular Activist, Aisha Yesufu has said that she prefers to spend 20 years in prison than recite the new National Anthem.

Aisha, made this known in reaction to a move by the House of Representatives seeking to pass a bill that will make anyone who refuses to recite the National Anthem bag 10-year Prison Sentence, N5 Million Fine or both

The Bill which is sponsored by the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, is set for its second reading.

Reacting Aisha said, “I will choose 20 years in prison than sing Tinubu’s anthem passed by slaves masquerading as lawmakers in the National Assembly”- activist Aisha Yesufu.”
