Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has promised to be the Governor of all Rivers people as he has been given a great responsibility by Rivers people.
Fubara, said this shortly after he was sworn in as governor of the state at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt, Today.
He also said Rivers State will remain the center of his focus and action, adding that he will take relevant measures to diversify the economy and adopt re-industrialization policy and partner with the private sectors.
“Fellow Rivers people, you have given me a great responsiblility. I will be the Governor of all Rivers people.We believe in the core value of prayer hard work and sacrifice. Rivers State will remain the center of our focus and action,” he said.
“We will take relevant measures to diversify our economy, adopt re-industrialization policy and partner with the private sectors… we will support the growth of small businesses.”
“Everyone to live in security and prosperity… we shall govern with the fear of God and stay strong on our Christian values,” he added.
