A young man in his twenties has confessed to wanting to use his mother for rituals in one of the new generation churches in Port Harcourt.
Elanhub gathered that the incident which happened at the Hour of Grace Revival Assembly at Rumuola yesterday shocked church members who could not believe that such a young boy could think of killing his mother.
The pastor of the church, Ezekiel Esonu while ministering called out the young boy and told the congregation that it was revealed to him that he was about using the mother for rituals.
The young man who immediately broke into tears could not deny it and pleaded with the pastor to pray and ask God to help him.
He said it was his friends who talked him into the act and gave him a substance to go and give to the mother who resides at Imo state.
The boy said he was about traveling to go and present the substance to the mother which will lead to her death, but could not explain what brought him to church.
He was ordered by the pastor to go get the substance for destruction.
