Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has publicly testified to what she described as her deliverance from smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation and long-standing anger issues during a Sunday service at Streams of Joy International Church.
Dikeh shared the testimony during the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) service, led by the church’s founder, Pastor Jerry Eze. A video of the testimony was shared on YouTube on Sunday by DCLImagery.
Speaking before the congregation, the actress disclosed that she began smoking at the age of 13 and struggled for years with alcohol and other personal challenges. She attributed her transformation to divine intervention, saying she experienced freedom from habits and emotional struggles that had persisted for much of her life.
She explained that her appearance at the altar was both a testimony and an act of thanksgiving, noting that she almost declined to speak due to concerns about protecting her public image.
According to Dikeh, her perspective changed when she reminded herself that her life and image were given by God, who also has the power to take them away.
The actress further revealed that after attending the Ghana Prayer Conference, she noticed a significant change in her life, describing it as relief from years of what she termed spiritual oppression.
