Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has reacted to the defection of one of his immediate past commissioners, Reason Onya to the All Progressives Congress.
Wike said the jubilation of the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi over the defection of Onya who was indicted for fraud by a Judicial Commission of Inquiry, is an indicator that he is irrelevant in the state.
Wike disclosed this in a statement through Kelvin Ebiri, his media aide over the weekend.
The Governor, also stated that his administration has offered scholarship to 500 Rivers Indigenes to study medicine at PAMO clinics in Port Harcourt.
He advised Amaechi to go back to Abuja, and face the numerous financial misappropriation rocking agencies under his watch and desist from castigating people.
