Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has hailed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun for reopening the sealed council Secretariats across the state, despite blasting him few weeks ago.
The governor commended the IGP when the state commissioner of Police, Mustapha Mohammed paid him a courtesy visit on Friday.
According to him, despite the misunderstanding with the Police in the past they still need to work together to ensure security of lives and property.
He stated that the importance of policing cannot be overemphasized as the worst officer is better than the best criminal.
Gov. Fubara also said he has forgiven the officers who tear gassed him, and used hot water on him during the heat of the crises in the State.
