The court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has struck out a suit instituted by a member of the SDP, Ataisi Ntene challenging the eligibility of the governorship candidate of the party, Sen. Magnus Abe to contest the forthcoming election.
The court struck out the matter after Ataisi withdrew the case Today.
Speaking to journalists after the court session, Ataisi said she and her family members have been receiving death threats since she instituted the suit.
She added that the case is not worth her life or that of any member of her family.
