Rivers Governorship hopeful, Sen. Magnus Abe says he is and have been a member of the Social Democratic Party.
Abe in a statement said he remains irrevocably committed to the ideals that has driven his politics through the years.
He also said he will continue to do all he can to improve internal democracy in the politics of our country and focus on the people.
“Yes I am and I have been a member of the social Democratic Party SDP. I remain irrevocably committed to the ideals that have driven my politics through the years,” he said.
“We will continue to do all we can to improve internal democracy in the politics of our country and focus on the people,” he added.
Abe had resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress after failing to clinch its Governorship ticket.
There have been reports that the former federal lawmaker who had maintained that he will be on the ballot in next year’s election would emerge Governorship candidate of the SDP.
