Niger Delta Activist, Asari Dokubo says he does not regret supporting Bola Tinubu to emerge as President despite the current economic hardship.
Dokubo in a statement on Sunday, said he believes that the economic hardship facing the country is temporal and will be addressed because Tinubu means well for Nigerians.
He stated that at the time Tinubu was contesting for president, he was the most preferred candidate among other contestants.
He said, “I didn’t regret supporting Tinubu for president despite the appointment of some cabinet members who ought not to work in the current administration as well as the economic hardship.
“At the time Tinubu was contesting for president, he was the most preferred candidate among other contestants and I wholeheartedly supported Tinubu for president.
“I believe the economic hardship facing the country is temporal and will be addressed soon because the Tinubu I know who is the president of this country means well for Nigerians.”
