Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has described the immediate past administration in the state as callous and vicious for looting state assets and not formally handing over to his government.
The governor, who spoke during a special valedictory session, held in Government House, Port Harcourt on Thursday said he never had the opportunity to be handed any document from his predecessor.
According to him, it was difficult getting parade vehicle for his swearing in, as they had to borrow from the then governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko.
He also said he could not move into Government House for more than a year because everything was looted by the then governor, Chibuike Amaechi and his cronies.
He however, thank God for the privilege that he will be successfully handing over to the incoming Sir Siminialayi Fubara led government.
