The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT,) Wike Nyesom, has denied reports of him using a N300m bulletproof car as his official vehicle.
The former Rivers state governor in a statement on Wednesday, said his official car as Minister of FCT is not bulletproof.
He urged people to be careful not to destroy others.
Part of his statement reads,
“We can see what is going on social media; how they bought a bulletproof car of N300 million that I’m using. So, I want you people to go and hit your hands there [on the car] and see really whether it is a treated car.
“With all due respect, people should be careful not to destroy other people.
“When I came [into the office], the Permanent Secretary said they had a car for us. So, I have never approved any car to be bought and I’m not using an official bulletproof car.
“I have bulletproof cars as governor, but I’m not using bulletproof car as FCT Minister.”
