Acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Tony Okocha says he is not aware that governorship candidate of the SDP in the state, Magnus Abe has returned to the APC.
Speaking, during a radio interview in Port Harcourt on Monday, Okocha said “you don’t belong to a party by jumping on radio and television.“
According to him, Abe has not met the requirements to become a member of the party, adding that the constitution of the party is clear on membership.
He described Abe’s move as blackmailing and urged him to come out clean on his quest to rejoin the party, as he is yet to tell Nigerians the truth.
He added that he wants the former lawmaker back to the party, but insisted that the right things must be done for him to properly become a member.
