Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers state, Sen. Magnus Abe says he is heading back to the All Progressives Congress.
Abe, who dumped the APC to contest the March 18 governorship election on the platform of the SDP but lost to Gov. Sim Fubara of the PDP made this known in a chat with journalists.
The former lawmaker, an ally of Tinubu said he was moving back to the APC to support the current administration.
He hailed Tinubu’s New Year message to Nigerians noting that it was full of hope and optimism, adding that it is a sign of better days to come.
He also described the political crisis in Rivers state as sad and hailed the peace deal signed by warring factions.
