Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said he is having sleepless nights over the need to execute developmental projects in Abuja and its satellite towns.
Wike remarked on Wednesday during the flag-off of the reconstruction and dualisation of Karu Road, from Karu Interchange to Customs Clinic Junction, as well as other township roads in Karu.
He revealed that the Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Christopher Maikalangu, and former FCT Senator, Philip Aduda, have been pressuring him to ensure projects are delivered across the capital city and surrounding communities.
The minister assured residents that his administration is committed to transforming infrastructure in both the city centre and satellite towns to improve living standards and boost economic activities.
