A python was yesterday spotted and killed in a forest at the Rumuokparali axis of Port Harcourt, by residents of the area.
A Facebook user identified as Chikason, made this known in a post. He said, the information was gotten from a friend who resides in the area.
According to him, the reptile was carted away in a tricycle, as residents were seen jubilating.
“This is a huge python killed in a forest at Rumuokparali area of PH. The meat will surely go round. I got this from a friend that stays in that area. Boys are not smiling,” he said.
This is not the first time a wildlife would be spotted in the state. You would recall that an elephant was spotted in Ikuru town in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, few months ago.
