Barely one week after five members of the House of Representatives dumped the Labour party for the All Progressives Congress, another member, Hon. Ajang Alfred Ilia(Plateau), has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ilia, in a letter read by the Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, said the reason for his defection was to align with the national development agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

The Labour Party is yet to react to Ilia’s defection. As you may, party had vowed to ensure that the seats of the lawmakers who earlier defected are declared vacant
