Popular Port Harcourt Hotelier, Azubuike Ihemeje, has criticised comedians in the city for what he described as a lack of value and professionalism in their collaborations.
Ihemeje expressed displeasure over reports that about 20 real estate companies are being featured in a single comedy show, suggesting that the comedians were more interested in collecting money than delivering quality content.
“Port Harcourt comedians will jam-pack 20 real estate firms in one single show and collect bread from all of them. No levels, zero value. Confusion everywhere!” he said in a strongly-worded social media post.
His comment has sparked debate online, with many weighing in on the growing intersection between entertainment and business in the city.
