The Ahoada-West Local Government Council Boss, Hope Ikiriko has accused the chairman of NULGE in the state Paul Clifford, of blackmail and collection of bribe to back those who claims to be staff of the council and are currently been owed salaries.
Ikiriko who made this known in a radio program in Port Harcourt said no genuine worker of the council is being owed salaries.
He said the council will pay any worker if the local government civil service commission proves their authenticity.
