Yesterday, the leaders, ward exco and members of Phalga ward 4,5,6,7,20 which made up constituency 2, were present in the town hall meeting with Hon Tonye Adoki as he gives out a total of 700 bags of rice (10kg) to the five (5) different ward, with each ward collecting a total of 140 bags each and a cash sum of 200 thousand to each ward.
The Hon members while speaking to his constituents thanked them for the tireless support been shown to him, H.E Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Executive Governor of Rivers State and the PDP.
He also stated that he has no other place he will fall back to and show gratitude apart from his constituents and he will not stop no matter how small.
Furthermore, the Hon member made it clear that the PDP is the only party that can redeem Nigerians from the shackles of the federal government led APC which has brought suffering and shame to the nation and so, therefore we must do everything within our franchise to sack the APC government and ReNew Nigeria.
During an interactive session with the Hon member, the constitutes were given opportunities to ask questions and make contributions to the benefit of their wards and the constituency at large.
Lastly, representatives from the different wards stood up to appreciate the Hon member for the Christmas gits to the various wards that it takes only a man with the spirit of giving to consistently reach out to his people, even in times like this that the country is experiencing hardship under the leadership Buhari led APC.
The highlight of the meeting was when the honourable member gave the sum of 100 thousand naira each to past women leaders of the various wards in appreciation of their loyalty and dedication in supporting him and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
