The Chairman of the Labour Party in Rivers State, Hilda Dokubo, has refuted claims of her suspension by the executives of her ward. In a statement released on Tuesday, Dokubo clarified that at no point did the legitimate ward executives take such action against her.
She also dismissed rumors of a rift with the Obedient group, explaining that her decision to decline an appointment with the group was driven by her commitment to maintaining unity within the party.
Reports of Dokubo’s alleged suspension surfaced online several days ago, sparking widespread reactions.
