Guinness World Records has officially confirmed Nigerian chef and restaurateur, Hilda Baci, as a three-time record holder after recognising her feat for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.
According to the global record-keeping body, the achievement has also been awarded the title of the largest serving of rice overall, further cementing Baci’s place in the Guinness World Records.
The confirmation was announced on Wednesday via Guinness World Records’ official Twitter page. In the post, the organisation stated:
“Yes, it’s true! @hildabacicooks is a three-time @GWR holder after her largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice has also been awarded the record title for the largest serving of rice overall.”
Hilda Baci first rose to global prominence after breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, a feat that drew widespread attention and acclaim for Nigerian cuisine.
