A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, has restrained the All Progressives Congress, from going ahead with its membership registration and Revalidation exercise in Rivers State. This is pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.
This followed a suit filed by two members of the party in the State, against the Caretaker Chairman of the party, Mai Mala Buni and factional Caretaker Chairman in the State, Isaac Ogbobula.
Justice O. Ben Whyte in his ruling, adjourned the case to February 25, 2021, for the motion of interlocutory injunction.
He also ordered that the originality processes and other processes in the suit be served on all parties involved in the matter.
