The standout tie of the round sees reigning champions Real Madrid drawn against English giants Manchester City, renewing one of the competition’s fiercest modern rivalries.
Another eye-catching fixture will see Paris Saint-Germain face Chelsea, while Premier League side Arsenal take on German champions Bayer Leverkusen.
German powerhouse Bayern Munich will battle Italian side Atalanta, as Newcastle United face Spanish giants Barcelona in what promises to be a stern test for the Magpies.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have been paired with Turkish champions Galatasaray, while Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Atlético Madrid.
