Gov. Wike during an interview on AIT this morning said, the move by the federal government is targeted at the opposition. The essence is to gag the opposition, he said.
The governor also noted that the ability to criticise is a hallmark of democracy.
Regarding the forthcoming Edo State gubernatorial elections, Wike said, the elections will be easy to win. The Edo elections, according to the governor, will determine whether godfatherism will cease or continue to thrive in Nigeria.
