Members of Nigeria’s House of Representatives have agreed to slash their salaries by fifty percent for six months to support the government in reducing hunger and hardship in the country.
The motion was moved by Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Kalu during plenary on Thursday, during a debate on the need to avert a planned nationwide protest
He appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu administration.
