A bus said to be worth over nineteen million naira, belonging to the Rivers State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Council Correspondent Chapel, was this morning stolen by heavily armed gunmen.
Chairman of the Chapel, Amaechi Okonkwo made this known in a chat with journalists, shortly after the incident.
He said the armed men stormed his residence in Port Harcourt and carted away the 18-seater bus which was packed there.
This was after his household and other residents, were robbed of their personal belongings.
The police in Rivers State is yet to react to the incident. Efforts to reach Spokesperson of the command, DSP, Grace Koko proved abortive.
