A community chief, identified as Chief Neeka Aaduma and three other persons have been allegedly murdered by heavily armed gunmen who stormed Luebe community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Monday.
According to reports the hoodlums shot sporadically in the community leading to the death of the chief and three other persons.
After terrorising Luebe community, the hoodlums stormed the neighboring Loore community and murdered another chief, simply identified as Ajeboy.
According to a resident of the community, the incident may not be unconnected with the rumour making the rounds that a certain ex -militant leade , Solomon Ndigbara has been killed.
He said “ We believe that the gunmen were members of the Icelanders Confraternity; they attacked Luebe community in the late hours of Monday and killed three boys.
“They were angry that a rumour started from the community that Solomon Ndigbara was dead , whereas he is alive,” he said.
