Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara is taking commendable steps to implement the Supreme Court’s judgment, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining peace in the state, according to Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Dr. Tammy Danagogo.
Speaking to journalists in Okrika Town, Okrika Local Government Area, Danagogo criticized the Rivers State House of Assembly for blocking the governor from presenting the 2025 Appropriation Bill last Wednesday.
He noted that Governor Fubara had formally communicated with the Assembly regarding the bill, questioning whether lawmakers understood their role in enforcing the Supreme Court’s ruling.
