Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, attended a service at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church on Hospital Road, Port Harcourt, where he was warmly received by the congregation.
The governor was accompanied by Hon. Fubara Hart, Hon. Ngozi Abu, and Hon. Tamunosisi Gogo Jaja.
Delivering the sermon, Rt. Rev’d Emmanuel Oko-Jaja, Bishop of the Niger Delta Diocese, emphasized the need for humility and patience in leadership. Addressing the Boys Brigade, who marked the end of their camp, the bishop advised them to shun cultism and uphold godly values.
He also cautioned against the abuse of power and urged worshippers to remain humble in positions of authority.
Special prayers were offered for Governor Fubara, seeking divine strength and restoration as he continues to lead the state.
