It is an open secret that Governor Bala Mohammed is on a path of perdition but with a determination to destroy our great party because of his pronounced presidential ambition.
Unrestrained moves of the Governor in recent time which have manifested in unbriddled utterances and the latest being the proliferation or promotion of division in the National Working Committee of our party have clearly and undeniably revealed him and his inordinate ambition.
Accepting to receive microscopic five (5) or six (6) members in a 17 member NWC led by the controversial Legal Adviser not the National Chairman or Acting Chairman, Vice and Secretary of the party is a fundamental wrong and ominously showing that this is a machination to throw a spanner in the smooth wheel of our party. It potends evil for our party.
Beyond dispute, it is evident that Governor Mohammed does not have the capacity to do his intention personaly hence employing the platform of the PDP Governor’s forum to project his visibility and raise an acoustical sound of his presidential ambition.
Disappointedly, it is a scheme which is dead on arrival on the ground that the nasty issue of rotation of positions and offices enshrined by Section 7(3)(c) of the Constitution of our party i.e. that the National Chairman of our party and presidential candidate of our Party shall not come from the same Northern zone of Nigeria at the same time which consumed Senator Iyocha Ayu’s Chairmanship and perished Vice President Atiku Abubarka’s ambition at the 2023 presidential election
awaits him.
Evidently, Governor Bala’s recent act smacks sponsorship and/or promotion of internal wrangling within the party. He is stoking fire of disunity and division within the National Working Committee of the party. Without mincing words this is a gross or grave act of anti Party in all shades coming from such a high officer of the party.
The Governor should immediately be charged for anti party activity and quickly be sent to the disciplinary community and all those officers of the party especially the National Legal Adviser of the party, Ajibola, SAN should not be speared because their action amounts to usurpation of the duties of the National Chairman of the party – what a rebellion.
PDP Governors’ Forum being a critical organ of our party should immediately ask Governor Bala Mohammed to step aside the leadership of the forum because he is now caught in the web of Anti party activity. He has failed intoto to give the needed direction because of his pronounced ambition.
