Rivers State Ministry of Works wishes to inform the general public and road users that Rumuola-Rumuokwuta- Choba road will be closed to traffic at OZUOBA Junction on Saturday 24th February, 2024 by 7am to enable Julius Berger Plc, the contractor handling the Port Harcourt Ring Road commence construction works on Fly-over 1.
Road Diversions is as follows:
1. Heavy Duty Vehicles from Choba should divert into Rumuokparali Road and turn left at Deeper Life High School Junction into Ogbogoro Road and continue.
2. Vehicles coming from Rumuola-Rumuokwuta should divert at Bakery Junction and connect to Ogbogoro Road and continue.
3. Vehicles coming from Ogbogoro to OZUOBA should:
(a) divert right at Gojihotha School road junction through to Cornerstone junction and continue to Mgbuoba to Rumuokwuta;
(b).divert left at Imperial Hospital junction through Rumuokparali to Deeper Life High School and continue to Choba.
