Spokesperson of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Solomon Lenu says Gov. Nyesom Wike’s fall from Political glory after he leaves office will cause an earthquake in the state.
Lenu, a known critic of the Wike administration disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
“The fall of Gov Wike from Political glory after may 29th 2023 will cause an earthquake. Mark these words,” he said.
Lenu also described Wike’s call for the National Chairman of the PDP to resign for the sake of justice since he is a northener, as “unnecessary noise.”
He asked if the equity Wike is talking about should not be applied in Rivers PDP, since the Governorship candidate of the party in the state, SIM Fubara, and state chairman of the PDP, Desmond Akawor hail from the same Senatorial district.
“Desmond Akawor & SIM card Fubara, State PDP chairman and PDP guber candidate are both from same senatorial district as dictated by Wike.
“So why is he (Wike) making unnecessary noise about Atiku & Ayu? The equity that Wike talks about, shouldn’t it also apply in Rivers PDP? I hate hypocrisy,” he added.
