The Governor Nyesom Wike, pre-season football tournament kicks off today. Lobi Stars and Rivers United are expected to slug it out in the opening match of the tournament.
The draws of the tournament was held at the conference hall of the Rivers State Ministry of Sports Complex yesterday in Port Harcourt, by members of the local organising committee.
Chairman of the LOC, Bashir Badawiy after the meeting, assured that the tournament would be professionally organised to the delight of all.
The tournament, which features ten teams, is in preparation of the forthcoming Nigeria Professional Football League season.
