The Rivers State Governor, Barr, Nyesom Wike has again donated the sum of five hundred million naira for the construction of a new complex for the Body of Benchers.
Chairman of the Body, Wole Olanipekun disclosed this during the inauguration of the Complex performed by H.E President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Thursday.
Wike, who is known for his philanthropic gestures has been criticized by some stakeholders over the donation when pensioners and demonstration teachers were been owed in the state
Governor, Nyesom Wike, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Chief Justice of Nigeria were some of the dignitaries that graced the occasion.
Buhari on his part said his administration is committed to upholding the rule of law and reviewing the welfare of judicial workers.
