Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has announced that all members of staff of Government House, Port Harcourt must undergo COVID-19 testing.
Governor Wike who disclosed this when the state government were presented with three ambulances by the Executive Director of BUA foundation, Khalifa Rabiu at Government House Port Harcourt.
The governor who has been commended by some stakeholders for his proactive measures in curbing the spread of the virus in the state said, the on-going increased testing of Covid-19 patients in the state is a commitment to save more lives.
The governor commended the BUA Group for the kind gesture as he stated that his government will continue to identify with those who came to their aid, this period of the pandemic.
Executive Director of BUA Foundation, Khalifa Rabiu in his remarks expressed appreciation to Governor Wike for creating conducive business environment for their operations. He equally commended the governor for efforts made in fighting the pandemic in the state.
