Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers State, Alex Agwangwar says he is optimistic that the state governor, Sim Fubara will implement the new minimum wage.
The NLC Chairman, made this known in a statement shortly after a new minimum wage of N70,000 was reached between the President and the organized labour in Abuja Today.
According to him, the governor had during the May Day celebration vowed to abide and implement the new minimum wage reached by the FG and organized labour.
He also said they will accept the new minimum wage reached between its national leadership and the President
