Rivers State Governor, Sir Sim Fubara has presented certificates of recognition and staff of office to two first class traditional rulers.
They are, His Majesty, Marcus Oduma Woyike, JP, Nye Nwe-Ali, Elele Okinali/Elele Alimini and His Majesty, Ndamzi Nsirim, Nye Nwe-Eli Rumueme Kingdom in Rumueme.
The presentation took place at the Government House, Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
Gov. Fubara charged the traditional rulers not to undo their subjects with their position.
He urged them to see their recognition as an opportunity to play their role in supporting good governance and protecting the interest of their people.
