Former Members of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, in Rivers State have accused Gov. Sim Fubara of sponsoring the #EndBadGovernance protest in the state.
Former Chairman of PHALGA, Hon. Allwell Ihunda said this on behalf of the group during a press briefing in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
According to him, the “pure water” money from the governor is a clear indication that he is in support of the protesters who are calling for the removal of President, Tinubu from office.
On his part, former Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Hon. Chidi Lloyd said the protest was hijacked when the state government started funding it.
He alleged that the governor was using the protest to call for the sack of the FCT Minister.
