Rivers State Governor, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara has donated a brand new 33kva transformer to Eletor, Woji community in Obio/Akpor LGA.
Commissioner for power, Hon. Prince Solomon Abel Eke presented the transformer to the community, today.
Hon. Eke noted that Governor Fubara swiftly approved the transformer after receiving a heartfelt appeal from the community, which had endured over 36 months without electricity.
“The Governor has also graciously covered the installation costs. After installation, a routine check will be conducted to assess the power distribution in the area, and if necessary, an additional transformer will be provided to prevent overloading”, Eke said.
