Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has donated the sum of two hundred million naira to Omega Power Ministries.
The governor made the donation today when he visited the church for the 51st birthday celebration of the General Overseer, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere.
He commended the General Overseer for his philanthropy and consistently contributing to humanity.
He said,“I want to commend you for what you are doing. Life is not about taking.
“What is important in life is giving and anybody who believe that it is only taking, the person doesn’t go far in life.”
“For all you are doing for humanity, God will continue to strengthen you.
“You don’t know what you are doing, but those of us who are outside understand your contribution to humanity.”
“I am aware that you are building a structure that your TV station is in partnership with, and one of the dreams of that place is that when you finish it, guests will be staying there when they come in for programme.
“Let me on behalf of the government and everyone of you here, which are the good people of Rivers State, donate the sum of N200,000,000.00 to support the project.”
